Explosion-proof ETCs are designed for transporting explosive objects when there is a risk of detonation during movement. The explosive is placed in a box and then transported to a safe location.
Peculiarities
Explosion-proof ETC containers protect people from injury when explosive objects detonate. The equipment can withstand the explosion of high explosive, high explosive and fragmentation weapons. When triggered, the fragments remain inside and do not fly apart. Standard boxes can withstand explosions created by bombs up to 1.5 kg of TNT.
After the explosion, the ETC container remains sealed; a valve is provided to relieve pressure.The explosion-proof box consists of:
