Introducing a NEW SERIES OF ARCHED METAL DETECTORS “MATRYOSHKA”
This series is new for 2023. Thanks to MATRYOSHKA, reliable organization of security systems is ensured at facilities with a high level of protection and in crowded places. This series meets the most stringent modern requirements for inspection equipment in order to prevent possible terrorist attacks.
Arched metal detectors of the MATRYOSHKA series have a unique system for detecting metal objects, dividing them into “safe” and “dangerous”. All products in this series use modern technologies based on the reception and transmission of a harmonic signal through an upgraded digital signal processing unit, as well as microprocessors, microcontrollers and others
Operating principle
Electromagnetic transmitting and receiving coils located in the left and right antenna panels create a scanning continuous and uniform electromagnetic field in the control zone by radiation. When carrying metal or metal-containing objects through the control zone, the physical parameters of the scanning electromagnetic field change in the locations of the said objects. All physical changes that affect the specified parameters of the scanning electromagnetic field in the control zones (dimensions, weight, physical properties of magnetic and non-magnetic metals and alloys) are analyzed by the signal processing unit. The operation of this unit is built according to special algorithms using modern microprocessors and electronic components.
At checkpoints, the adjustable alarm signal is duplicated by a light indication on the end of the left and right antenna panels, and is also additionally displayed on the screen of the control unit. This allows the operator to accurately locate one or more metal objects on a person's body, in the pockets of his clothing or in luggage. For convenience, the products are equipped with a two-color light indication STOP/GO, which allows you to regulate the passage of people through the control zone.
Dimensions of the metal detector
The safety of transporting the metal detector is ensured thanks to reliable transport packaging, which protects the device and all its components from chips, scratches, dents, high humidity and dust.
The housing of the signal processing unit has become twice as compact and aesthetically pleasing against the backdrop of a modular design. The control unit is equipped with convenient latches for attaching to a horizontal crossbar, which simplifies assembly. All elements for connecting external devices are located inside the aluminum body of the crossbar, where there is a special technological hole with a decorative plug.
The designs retain all the integral elements - an information screen of detection zones, signal indication, two five-digit displays displaying statistics on the number of passes and alarms, as well as an interface display, a settings menu, individual color, linear indication of the level of signals from the scanning field.
Integration into an access control system
All products are equipped with two relay connectors for connecting additional devices (dry contacts). They allow the devices to be integrated into an access control system, including, for example, airlock cabins, turnstiles, and automatic doors. When a metal object is detected (according to the specified sensitivity parameters and alarm duration), the metal detector will simultaneously close the first relay output, after which the actuator will be blocked. If objects on a person’s body or in his clothing are acceptable according to the specified parameters, the product will close the second relay output, after which the actuator will be unlocked.
The product has three connection points to the 220 V network in the upper part: below, on the left and right antenna panels. All connection points to the 220 V network are protected by a fast-acting fuse. There is also a special connector for lithium-ion batteries. The battery life of the product ranges from 4 hours or longer. The interface menu displays the battery charge level in real time.
To connect to a personal computer and control via the Internet, use an RG-45 type socket.
Parallel operation
The modernized adaptation technology of BLOKPOST MATRYOSHKA series metal detectors additionally makes it possible to increase adaptive noise immunity and synchronize several devices according to operating frequencies. More than 12 products arranged in a row can be operated simultaneously around the clock; the distance between them should be 500 mm.
Thanks to the introduction of new design solutions for placing from 14 to 34 electromagnetic coils, it became possible to take into account the overlap of adjacent zones. Accordingly, each metal detector forms a uniform, multi-zone scanning field. The number of detection zones can vary from 3 to 93, which significantly increases the accuracy of determining the location of one or more metal objects on a person’s body, in his clothing or in luggage.

The body of the BLOCKPOST metal detectors of the MATRYOSHKA series has a shell protection rating of IP54. The panels have a moisture-resistant coating and special impregnation. Additional structural elements made of aluminum and durable plastic allow the product to be used in almost any conditions indoors and even outdoors, if the product is not directly exposed to precipitation and is not in conditions of high humidity. The degree of protection of the case can be further increased by means of special cases with transparent inserts.
The range of metal detectors of the MATRYOSHKA series has a standard set of fastenings to the floor. Mortgage holes for fastening to the floor are covered with a specially modeled decorative strip. This allows the product to look aesthetically pleasing.
Installation of BLOCKPOST MATRYOSHKA series metal detectors is quite simple. Even an untrained specialist can carry it out in 10-15 minutes. The settings interface menu has been adapted, and the operator will not spend much time on setup. Each product has technical documentation with a detailed description of the commissioning process.
Software “BLOCKPOST-CONNECT”
“BLOKPOST-CONNECT” software, thanks to the function of connecting to a personal computer via a local network, makes it possible to remotely control, monitor and control up to 200 metal detectors in real time.
