Wrist gamma radiation dosimeter DKG-RM1603A, DKG-RM1603B
Description
A miniature professional dosimeter is designed for continuous round-the-clock monitoring of the radiation situation. The dosimeter measures the dose and dose rate of gamma and X-ray radiation from 1 µSv/h to 5 Sv/h (DKG-RM1603A) or up to 10 Sv/h (DKG-RM1603V).
Operating principle
The dosimeter is available in two modifications: DKG-RM1603A and DKG-RM1603B. DKG-RM1603V has an extended dose rate measurement range.
The dosimeters are equipped with a non-volatile memory in which up to 1000 history events are automatically stored (measurements of dose rate, accumulated dose, cases and levels of exceeding set alarm thresholds; 500 DER + 500 DE). Using an infrared (IR) communication channel, information from the device’s non-volatile memory can be transferred to a personal computer for further processing and analysis, as well as presentation in the form of appropriate databases as part of the system for monitoring and recording personnel radiation doses.
The dosimeters provide the ability to set two independent alarm thresholds for dose and dose rate, exceeding which is automatically accompanied by an audible alarm. In this case, the display of the devices displays the value whose threshold is exceeded, which ensures timely information to the user about radiation hazards.
The sealed, shock-resistant housing allows the devices to be used in adverse operating conditions and, if necessary, to decontaminate the dosimeters, and the fluorescent backlight makes it possible to easily read information from the display in the absence of external lighting.
Network functions
The dosimeter can be integrated into the Personal Dose Tracker automated system for recording dose loads, which allows you to keep track of individual doses of external exposure to personnel.
