Description
Microprocessor search meter-alarm ISP-RM1401MAA highly sensitive compact search device designed for the detection and localization of radioactive materials via the gamma channel. The device is made in a durable metal case and can be used in extreme field conditions.
Operating principle
Thanks to the function of automatic measurement and storage of background radiation, the device adequately adapts to the background level, which simplifies the localization of a radioactive source in conditions of increased study intensity (localization of a point source against the background of a distributed radioactive source). The alarm meter immediately reacts to even a slight excess of the background value, notifying about this with sound and light signals. For hidden detection and work in places with high noise levels, an external vibration alarm is provided.
The meter-signaling device is easy to maintain, and correct operation of the device does not require special qualifications or training of the user. The device can be supplied with a telescopic extension, which allows radiation monitoring in hard-to-reach places and provides higher radiation protection to the user.
