The portable analyzer "MetExpert" is needed to determine the chemical composition of various materials. The device can detect a wide range of elements - from sodium to americium, covering the range of atomic numbers from 11 to 95. The X-ray fluorescence device can analyze substances regardless of their state of aggregation - be it solids, powders or liquids.

"MetExpert" is of particular value when working with metal alloys, including aluminum, magnesium, and stainless steel compositions, as well as when studying structural materials. All measurements of mass fractions of elements are carried out according to approved methods.

Design

The MetExpert device includes several key components:

  • detector unit;
  • X-ray source;
  • battery;
  • spectrometric module;
  • communication control unit;
  • display panel.

Based on expert opinion No. 140-13 (dated July 10, 2013), as well as according to provisions 1.7-1.8 OSPORB-99/10, the device does not require special licensing and can be operated without additional radiation monitoring and control.

It is a complete measurement system in which all elements work as a single unit for XRF analysis of materials.
The innovative MetExpert analyzer was created taking into account the requirements for ergonomics and functionality. Its equipment includes a photo relay, a Bluetooth port and a special measuring camera. Particular attention is paid to the materials of the case - it is made of modern polymer alloys.

Comfort of use is ensured by a well-thought-out design: anti-slip rubber elements on the handle guarantee a secure grip when working. The device is equipped with a multifunctional stand, which ensures the stability of the device, and at the same time serves as a battery compartment.

Determination of the chemical composition of a substance occurs thanks to a unique calculation method based on non-standard fundamental parameters. This method allows you to calculate the percentage of each element through analysis of the intensity of the characteristic radiation.

The analysis process begins with the generation of primary X-ray radiation by a special tube of the device. When this radiation hits the material under study, secondary fluorescence occurs. The specificity of this secondary radiation directly depends on the elemental composition of the sample - each chemical element gives its own characteristic spectral response.

The portability of the device, combined with the accuracy of measurements, makes this analyzer an indispensable tool for quickly determining the composition of materials.

Thanks to its compact design in the form of a single module, MetExpert is a mobile X-ray fluorescence analyzer that can be easily moved between locations. Highly accurate measurements are available in factory premises and mobile laboratories or on site.

The integrated software solution controls the parameters of the spectrometer and the radiation source and provides comprehensive data processing.
