Magneto-optical device "Regula" 7505M
The Regula 7505M device is designed to quickly check the authenticity of a car's VIN number. The object is examined without damaging the metal by reading data. The portable device is equipped with a built-in screen that displays all detected data.
This device is widely used by customs officials, insurance companies, forensic departments, companies involved in the sale/rental of vehicles, etc.
Functions:
- checking the authenticity of the vehicle's VIN number;
- restoration of number values if they are completely or partially damaged;
- restoration of true number values when trying to hide or repaint;
- checking the authenticity of car documents, driver's licenses, insurance.
The device operates as follows:
- A magnetic scanner records a magnetogram: recording the stray fields of a magnetized object on magnetic tape.
- The magnetogram is placed in a USB magneto-optical imaging device, where information about the surface layer of the object is read.
- Information about the surface layer of the object is converted into a digital signal, which is sent to a portable personal computer for research and processing in the NUCA software.
The device identifies, detects and restores the original appearance of counterfeit VIN numbers of vehicle bodies and components by chemically and mechanically examining metal surfaces.
Operating principle:
1. A magnetic scanner records the stray fields of a magnetized object onto magnetic tape.
2. Information of the surface layer is read via a USB drive, digitized and displayed in the NUCA software
