Purpose
Automatic detection of gamma radiation sources moving by a pedestrian through the control zone.
The radiation monitor “RM-1SM-01” is used for radiation monitoring of pedestrian flows at transport infrastructure facilities, in offices and institutions. The radiation monitor is designed for installation in access control devices (turnstiles) installed at the entrances to the building.
Design
The radiation monitor “RM-1SM-01” consists of a detection unit and a set of mounting parts. The detection unit is a metal case that houses the gamma detector and electronics units. To install the radiation monitor at the installation site, a set of mounting parts is used, the type and composition of which is determined by the installation site.
The use of a lead screen makes it possible to increase the efficiency of detecting gamma radiation sources.
The radiation monitor provides data transfer to the control panel or to a computer and mobile device with installed specialized software.
The values in the “Characteristics” section are given for the detection unit without a set of mounting parts.
