Detection of fissile and radioactive materials when monitoring heavy pedestrian flows.
Purpose
Automatic detection of gamma radiation sources moved by a pedestrian through the control zone in continuous mode. The radiation monitor “RM-1SM-02” is used for radiation monitoring of intense flows of pedestrians in crowded places, at transport infrastructure facilities, in offices and institutions.
Design
The “RM-1SM-02” monitor is a metal case that houses a gamma detector and electronics units. The radiation monitor is equipped with a built-in presence sensor and light and sound alarm.
The use of a lead screen makes it possible to increase the efficiency of detecting gamma radiation sources.
The radiation monitor provides data transfer to the control panel or to a computer and mobile device with installed specialized software.
