Radiation monitoring system SRK-RM520
Purpose
SRK-PM520 is a multifunctional solution with a customizable architecture, which is designed to prevent unauthorized movement of radioactive materials and ensure radiation safety at radiation-sensitive and radiation-hazardous facilities.
Description
The composition of SRK-RM520 includesdata processing unitand a distributed network of gamma detection units (BDG2 or BDG3) and/or neutron (MND) radiation from the kitPM1403.
Detection units are connected to the processing unit via RS-485 communication lines and installed at the inputs/outputs of objects, at key access and control points.
Up to four can be connected to one processing unit (for modificationSRK-PM520-04) or up to eight (forSRK‑PM520-08) detection units.
The processing unit monitors radiometric data from a distributed network of detectors and provides light and sound signals when two independent equivalent dose rate thresholds (“Attention” and “Danger”) and the search threshold of the detection units are exceeded.
A personal computer with installed user software can be connected to the SRK-PM520 to visualize the operation of the system and adjust the sensitivity of detection units and alarm thresholds.
The processing unit has outputs for connecting an external alarm module and integrating into other security systems.
