Radiation monitoring units URK-PM5000K series
Purpose
Portal radiation monitors of the URK‑PM5000K series are highly sensitive stationary systems designed to provide radiation monitoring of road and rail transport, passengers and baggage at stationary checkpoints.
PM5000K units can be installed both indoors and outdoors.
When radioactive and nuclear materials are detected in the controlled area or the background value of gamma radiation changes, a light and sound alarm is activated, and the corresponding information is displayed and saved on the computer connected to the installation.
The URK-RM5000KM installations are a measuring instrument.

URK-РМ5000К-01 (РМ5000КМ-01) corresponds to the VITγ category of transport monitors according to GOST R 51635-2000.
URK-RM5000K-02 (RM5000KM-02) correspond to the IVTγ category of transport monitors according to GOST R 51635-2000.
The installations detect a batch of contaminated materials, the MMED of gamma radiation near the surface of which (minus the contribution of the natural background)
exceeds 0.2 μSv/h.
The installations detect local sources, the DER of gamma radiation at a distance of 10 cm from which exceeds 1 μSv/h.
