Gamma radiation detection unit BDG2-PM1403
Description
Designed to measure the ambient dose equivalent rate of X-ray and gamma radiation (EDR), measure the ambient dose equivalent of photon radiation, search (detection and localization) of radioactive materials by recording photon radiation.
Operating principle
Operating modes:
- photon radiation DER measurement
- photon radiation DE measurement
- search and registration of photon radiation sources
- programming operating modes
In programming mode, BDG2 provides input into non-volatile memory and continuous monitoring of two threshold levels of DER and two threshold levels of DE, as well as sound and light alarms when the set threshold levels are exceeded.
Work as part of a complex device and with a PC
The external detection unit can be used as part of a complex device PM1403 (BDOI/BOI), or connected to a PC. In the mode of communication with a PC or BDOI/BAI it provides: reading of DER and DE measurement information, statistical error of DER measurement, DE accumulation time, values of threshold levels for DER and DE, sound alarm status; recording in BDG2 the values of threshold levels for DER and DE, commands to reset the accumulated DE and DE accumulation time, recording the command to “turn on/off” the sound alarm.
Other detection units for working with BDOI
BDG3 – Csl detector (TI), gamma radiation detection unit
BDAB – proportional counter, alpha and beta detection unit
BDN – He-3 detector, neutron radiation detection unit
