Security is a whole set of measures that are aimed at protection and safety by preventing unauthorized actions. Control systems with cameras help prevent unauthorized entry into a premises or protected area. Modern visual monitoring equipment with built-in memory allows you to record large periods of time that are available for viewing for 30 days or more.
Video surveillance is widely used by security services, security companies, in production workshops, on highways and other institutions. This is necessary equipment not only for organizations, but also for private use.
Security video surveillance and equipment must operate uninterruptedly, the operator must constantly monitor what is happening on the monitors in order to quickly make a decision if an emergency situation occurs.
CCTV device
Control systems with cameras consist of:
- digital camera;
- monitor;
- image processing equipment;
- storage;
- network cable.
The visual control device has several functions:
- general observation of the object;
- detection of moving objects;
- identification of objects of observation and recording.
Systems can be:
- analog;
- digital;
- combined.
According to the method of application and installation of video, security equipment can be indoor or outdoor, and according to its design it can be cabinet, dome, bullet, compact, rotary.
Video surveillance systems can be simple or complex. Simple ones consist of one or two cameras with different image processing technologies. Simple systems are used for quick orientation on an object in real time.
If an object requires special control measures, multi-camera video surveillance systems are used. These are several IP cameras that are connected and transmit images simultaneously to several monitors. Large enterprises use up to ten cameras. At least two operators are required for observation.
Video security equipment can be color or black and white. Monochrome systems are cheaper, so they are used more often on small objects. Color systems are installed in cases where additional information about the control object is needed.
Cameras are placed in a protected area and transmit images to recording equipment - a local or remote Internet server. All information is archived on hard drives. The image from the camera can be immediately transmitted to security monitors for visual control in real time.
You can install one or more security video surveillance cameras on the territory; each device has its own range and capture radius. PTZ cameras move cyclically, so they have a wider recording range. This is an advantage over stationary fixed cameras that capture only a separate area.
The security video surveillance device is equipped with a built-in high-capacity battery; the battery can be charged inside the equipment via the mains or USB input.
