Document reader Regula "Regula" 70X9
The device manufactured by Regula is designed for automatic reading and examination of identity documents, including identification cards, magnetic cards, and certificates. The device recognizes graphic and text data and transmits it to the screen in several light spectra. The built-in computer chip quickly processes incoming data, saves images and determines the authenticity of documents.
Design features
The device is an optical reader that has no moving elements. Data processing is carried out through a computer that is integrated into the Regula reader. Software SDK “Regula document reader” is included in the kit.
The compact model will easily fit on small surfaces. The body is made of plastic, due to its light weight and compact size, the device is convenient to carry from place to place, checking “on the go”. The durable plastic case protects the device from accidental damage when dropped or hit.
The video output is used to connect to the monitor. To additionally connect other devices, the manufacturer has equipped the document reader with four USB ports. It is possible to connect locally to the network.
Functionality
Regula document reader automatically reads data and identifies documents, determining their authenticity.
The image is transmitted in white, infrared, ultraviolet, coaxial light. Some models in the line have modules that allow you to read contactless and contact microcircuits.
Peculiarities:
- processing of papers in ID-1 – ID-3 formats;
- automatic scanning start when a document is available;
- eliminating glare;
- automatic adjustment of intensity, brightness;
- recognition of various types of barcodes;
- automatic authentication.
For identification, you must place the document within the visibility range of the device. It automatically recognizes and identifies the document. Images are scanned in all light spectrums used. Data processing occurs through the software that comes with the kit. Optionally available with a built-in USB monitor with Multi-touch functionality.
