Metal detector BLOCKPOST PC V1 is an easy-to-use and reliable model of the MATRYOSHKA series. The built-in innovative high-power microprocessor is capable of effectively discriminating between ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. The minimum weight of magnetic metals that the model can recognize is only 10 grams, non-magnetic metals – 50 grams or less. V1 can be synchronized with other metal detectors to operate the device in a combination of 10-50 structures. The minimum distance between MDs should be 50 cm.
Connecting to a computer
The BLOCKPOST V1 series models now have a unique function for monitoring several hundred metal detectors, configuring and managing them using a single server. This function is necessary for transmitting and analyzing data on the number of passes, sensitivity settings, and number of alarms. Information can be received in real time from one to several hundred metal detectors.
The IRA-ENGINEERING company has developed its own software, which makes it possible to control the security of such large objects as stadiums, ice palaces, concert halls, airports, train stations with the help of several operators.
Also, V1 series metal detectors are equipped with an SD-card-based recorder, which is easy to remove if you need to reproduce the chronology of events for any period of time the metal detector was operating.
Parallel operation
When operating the V1 model in parallel, the recommended distance between metal detectors is 50 cm. Mutual interference between devices is eliminated due to the presence of several operating frequencies. It is recommended to set different frequencies on adjacent MDs. The minimum permissible distance between devices is determined based on the conditions of the installation site. The model can work in combination with 10-50 metal detectors.
Integration into an access control system
The output for controlling actuators - “dry contacts” - allows you to integrate the model into an access control system. The metal detector can be installed in conjunction with a turnstile, tripod, airlock cabin, airlock vestibule, automatic door and other devices.
If a person with a prohibited item crosses the metal detector arch, the side panels will sound an alarm and block the turnstile or any other device used in parallel with the metal detector, making further movement of the visitor impossible.

Connecting to a computer
Electromagnetic transmitting and receiving coils located in the left and right antenna panels by radiation create a scanning continuous and uniform electromagnetic field in the control zone.
When carrying metal or metal-containing objects through the control zone, the physical parameters of the scanning electromagnetic field change in the locations of the detected object.
The signal processing unit analyzes all physical changes that affect the specified parameters of the scanning electromagnetic field in the control zones - dimensions, weight, physical properties of magnetic and non-magnetic metals and alloys, as well as possible third-party electromagnetic interference.
