Operating principle
The operation of stereoscopic microscopes is based on the use of two lighting modes - reflected and transmitted light. Therefore, the device, including the MBS-10 model, is classified as a stereoscopic device. A special feature is the presence of two object stages, which provide the possibility of research under different types of sample illumination.
The basic layout of these optical instruments includes a metal body with a lens system located inside, located above the object stage. For binocular observation of the object under study, an attachment with a pair of eyepieces is installed in the upper part of the body, allowing observation with two eyes simultaneously.
MBS-10 is a universal research microscope, whose technical parameters allow for various scientific research. The design is thought out for maximum user convenience. Engineers have provided armrests that provide a comfortable position for your arms during long periods of work.
Safety is ensured by a clamp - it does not allow the lens to get too close to the working surface, protecting the material being examined and the table itself from damage. An important element is the rotating bracket, which allows you to adjust the angle of incidence of the light.
When working with reflected light, you need to pay attention to the correct fastening of the work table - it must be fixed on the main table of direct lighting. This installation feature ensures stability during research.
Application
The MBS-10 series microscope has a wide range of applications - from scientific laboratories to jewelry workshops. It is actively used by archaeologists in field research, biologists when studying flora and fauna, as well as forensic experts when working with prohibited substances.
The technical characteristics are impressive: the distance between the sample under study and the lens is at least 95 millimeters, and the visual field covers from 2.4 to 39 millimeters. At the same time, the device provides magnification from 4 to 100 times and weighs only 8 kilograms, which makes it quite mobile.
The MBS-10 microscope is sensitive to temperature fluctuations. After transportation or storage at low temperatures, the device requires adaptation to a warm room for correct operation of all optical elements. Air temperatures above 40 degrees may cause image distortion and damage. High-precision optical equipment requires careful handling - it is contraindicated for any kind of contamination and excess moisture in the room.
