Operational inspection, forensic, forensic, diagnostic studies of metal surfaces to determine the authenticity and identify signs of falsification of VIN numbers of vehicles.
The mobile complex in a protective case consists of devices for magnetic particle imaging, electrochemical etching, eddy current detection, auxiliary equipment and consumables, and an optical probe with an oblique light source.
It can be used as an independent product or as part of the Regula 7505M complex, expanding its functionality.
Functionality of peripheral devices "Regula" 7516
A remote magnetizer with variable geometry of the magnetic circuit and an operational supply of ferro-powder solutions visualize structural and relief inhomogeneities: zones of work-hardening stresses, local thermal effects, ferromagnets, welds, surface defects without removing the paint coating:
- excitation of magnetic stray fields above the surface of an object, which show internal structural inhomogeneities;
- magnetic particle projection of magnetic stray fields.
Eddy current detection system - a remote eddy current sensor and a measuring and indicator device indicate structural inhomogeneities of an object: welds, changes in metal thickness, paint layer, zones of local thermal effects without removing the paint:
- excitation of an electromagnetic field of eddy currents in the area under study, which reflect internal structural inhomogeneities and geometric parameters;
- indication of interaction parameters of the electromagnetic field of eddy currents, as well as the electromagnetic field of excitation
Electrochemical etching device - a remote galvanic head with a current regulator and a voltage inverter displaying structural inhomogeneities of work-hardening stress zones, local thermal effects, welds with paint removal:
- removing paintwork;
- electrochemical etching of the surface of metal samples made of steel, cast iron, aluminum alloys;
- contactless refilling, servicing of the galvanic head.
An optical probe with a source of oblique light, which is based on a color USB camera and equipped with a flexible tripod with magnetic latches - visual-optical studies of the front and back surfaces of license plates:
- display of surface relief;
- input of images obtained by visualization using magnetic particle/electrochemical etching methods;
- lighting the subject;
- obtaining an image of the object being examined;
- converting the image into a television signal;
- formation of a television image on a monitor screen;
- saving results.
