The high-precision stationary metal detector SmartScan A2 divides the inspection space into two main segments. The first is located at the bottom of the arch at a height of 30 cm from the floor level, the second covers the entire space above. The device detects metal objects weighing 10 grams or more, which complies with Russian safety standards.
Thanks to independent monitoring of each zone, the system instantly responds to the appearance of prohibited metal objects by activating light and sound alarms. Despite its simple dual-zone design, the device demonstrates exceptional selectivity and reliability, effectively suppressing external interference. A metal detector detects the presence of metal in a person's upper and lower body, making it ideal for security checkpoints.
In places with low traffic: hotels, business centers, restaurants, shopping malls, an arched metal detector “smartscan a2” is often installed. This equipment is suitable for situations where stopping visitors temporarily for inspection will not create congestion.
