Description

The PM5000B series of radiation portal monitors are highly sensitive stationary systems designed to provide control over the movement of radioactive materials. Gamma, neutron and gamma-neutron radiation monitors are recommended for monitoring passenger cars and trucks, as well as trains.

Monitors can be installed at border and customs checkpoints; at facilities using or producing nuclear materials; during incoming control at enterprises using or processing secondary raw materials, to prevent radiation sources from entering technological processes.

 

Operating principle

The monitors are mounted on bases on the ground and are designed for use in adverse climatic conditions. Monitors can have different heights of the control zone and monitor gamma, neutron or both types of radiation simultaneously. Car monitors can be equipped with video surveillance systems and provide data exchange with a PC.
