Video spectral comparator "Guinea (VSK-1)"
To conduct an accurate examination of documents, passports and any other types of printed products that have special protection, the video spectral comparator “Guinea (VSK-1)” is used to identify the presence/absence of special marks in the objects under study.
The comparator is equipped with sources of UV - IR - and visible radiation. For monitoring, a highly sensitive high-resolution television channel and a set of spectral filters are used.
The video spectral comparator is connected to a computer equipped with a software package. The functioning of the device can be expanded through expansion and by connecting to various forensic equipment, for example, a spectral magnifier, an anti-Stokes luminescence visualizer, microscopes, etc.
The “Guinea (VSK-1)” device is most widely used by employees of the Federal Customs Service and the Federal Security Service of Russia, and can also be used for training specialists or improving the qualifications of specialists performing passport control.
