Long-range inspection lamp "FOS3-5/6"
The long-range inspection lamp "FOS3-5/6" is designed for operation on land and at sea at ambient temperatures from minus 40 °C to plus 40 °C and relative humidity up to 98% (at plus 25 °C).
The flashlight is intended for use in units of the state fire service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, on sea and river vessels and for other law enforcement agencies.
A distinctive feature of the FOS3-5/6 flashlight from previously produced flashlights is the use of a new board with microprocessor control, which allows you to use a more reliable button without fixing, eliminate the mechanical potentiometer, implement smooth switching on of the lamp, and protect the battery from short circuits and polarity reversals. The power button performs four functions:
- inclusion;
- light intensity adjustment;
- transition to signal (flashing) mode;
- shutdown
Smooth switching on of the flashlight increases the service life of the lamp. Turning on, turning off, switching to signal mode, adjusting the light intensity (brightness) is done using the power button in the following order:
- Press the button once to turn the flashlight on or off,
- A long press on the button (2-3 seconds) turns on the alarm mode;
- Long pressing the button and holding it while the flashlight is on – switches to the economical glow mode (the light intensity changes stepwise).
Structurally, the lamp consists of a rotating headlight connected to a cylindrical body. The headlight rotates about the horizontal axis at an angle of 120 degrees. A microprocessor electronic board is built inside the cylindrical case, which, 30 minutes before the battery is discharged, turns on a warning alarm by flashing the lamp 10 times at one-minute intervals and subsequent protective shutdown of the lamp. The body and headlight are made of durable plastic and can withstand impacts when dropped from a height of 2 m.
By special order it is possible to produce a lantern with a degree of protection from external influences IP 55.
