Operating principle
The equipment uses electromagnetic waves. The radio signal tends to be lost when it comes into contact with metal. Antennas and transmitters are hidden inside the arch, on the side bars. Signals are continuously transmitted from one strip to another at the same speed.
The signal goes from one half of the arch to the other, and then back. If a metal object is carried through the arch, the signal is lost. The radio wave transmission time increases. This automatically fixes the device, and the sound and light indication is triggered.
