The Pilot line of gas analyzers is used for automatic recognition of traces of explosive substances. Sampling can be done from the surface or air. The portable device is used for work in non-laboratory conditions; the built-in color display makes it possible to obtain analysis results immediately.
Features of "Pilot M 1"
Unlike the Pilot-M analogue, the Pilot M1 explosives detector is designed for those users who place higher demands on the detection of explosive vapors in order to eliminate false alarms. The device allows you to archive and save data, as well as conduct a comparative analysis of previously taken samples with new ones. To use this feature, you must be connected to a computer.
The Pilot-M 1 kit includes software with a wide database containing information about common explosives. The software is constantly updated, and the database is supplemented with new compounds.
To output information to an external computer, an adapter cable is provided, which is included in the kit. The operator can also analyze samples on site.
When an explosive substance is detected, data is displayed on the built-in color screen, so the operator can immediately obtain the necessary information without connecting to a computer. The data is displayed in the form of an ionogram. The operator immediately sees by the location of the “peaks” what substances are detected on the surface or in the air. The analysis result can also be output to a remote computer.
