X-ray television installation (introscope) Rapiscan 638XR
X-ray television systemRapiscan 638XRwith tunnel dimensions of 1837 mm (width) by 18000 mm (height) is designed for inspection of pallets and large cargo weighing up to 3000 kg. Robust roller conveyor for heavy loads ensures horizontal pallet handling.
The device has a dual-energy patterning function, and the streamlined body design makes it ergonomic.
Like Rapiscan Systems' other 600 Series X-ray systems, the Rapiscan 638XR is mounted on a standard platform for easy operation and maintenance.

The Rapiscan 638XR introscope uses more than 13 image processing tools and algorithms for effectively detecting hidden threats, namely the following options:
- – TIP is a system that embeds a digital projection of a dangerous object into the image of luggage with a programmable frequency;
- – TIPNET – a secure high-speed network connecting the network of all projections of a dangerous object with the central station;
- – Target—identification of a potentially dangerous item by analyzing the mass, size and atomic number of objects;
- – DTA – generates an alarm when the density of the displayed object exceeds the user-defined one.
It is also possible to receive training in the basic functions and capabilities of the system in a convenient OTP application program - operator training program.
