The PM5000B series of radiation portal monitors are highly sensitive stationary systems that are designed to provide control over the movement of radioactive materials. Gamma, neutron and gamma-neutron radiation monitors are recommended for monitoring passenger and freight vehicles, as well as trains.

Installations of the PM5000BM series are measuring instruments.

Monitors can be installed at border and customs checkpoints; at facilities using or producing nuclear materials; during incoming control at enterprises to protect against radiation sources entering technological processes that use or process secondary raw materials.

Operating principle of URK-RM5000VM

Monitors are mounted on bases on the ground, suspended on special supports or walls and are designed for operation in adverse climatic conditions. Depending on the requirements, monitors can be single- or double-sided, and can also have different heights of the control zone and monitor gamma, neutron, or both types of radiation at the same time.

Car monitors can be equipped with video surveillance systems, the ability to exchange data with a computer and paging communication with specialists responsible for performing radiation monitoring procedures.

The ability to combine devices into a single network with control from one computer and subsequent integration into a higher-level network with control from a command center of expertise.
