Preparing arenas and training facilities for the 2018 World Cup
After a prosecutor’s inspection of the security of sports facilities, organized in 2016, in preparation for the FIFA World Cup, scheduled for June-July 2018, it turned out that most stadiums and sports facilities do not have special equipment capable of preventing the actions of terrorists.
Based on the results of the inspection, full-scale preparation of arenas and training grounds for the sporting event began. SLS-Group took an active part in the supply and installation of anti-terrorist equipment that meets the most stringent modern requirements.
Based on the experience gained during the Olympic Games in Sochi, the Universiade in Tatarstan, as well as during other public events, a technical specification was formed, on the basis of which SLS-Group specialists installed anti-terrorist equipment at facilities intended for residence and training of athletes.
The 2018 World Cup will be held at 12 stadiums located in 11 different cities of the Russian Federation, in each of them sports facilities have been created, some of which are already equipped with anti-terrorism equipment installed directly by SLS-Group.
